The Metolius River Resort offers all the luxury of a four star hotel with the privacy and tranquility you would expect from a river cabin vacation. Nestled among the ponderosa pines and aspens are several architecturally award-winning cabins that are well appointed with modern amenities and décor. The Metolius River is visible from each of the cabins and only a few short steps away. Allow the peaceful tranquility of the river to fuel your spirit and reconnect you with nature. The sound of the river is guaranteed to leave you relaxed and refreshed.
Unique Features: There is no cell phone service in Camp Sherman. You will need a calling card to make long-distance calls from the Resort.
Accommodations: The resort has 12 cabins to choose from. Dura Flame logs are provided as they do not allow real wood fires. Barbecues are provided for guest use in designated areas. Barbecuing is not permitted on cabin decks or near cabins. Please do not move the barbecues. Briquets and starter fluid is provided for your convenience. Nearly every cabin has television service and satellite service. Cabin six does not have a television. Bed linens, blankets, towels, and paper products are provided. For the kitchen, they provide dish soap, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, sponges, dishcloths, pot holders, pots and pans, dishes, silverware, and glassware.
As Suite As It Gets: When money is no object, go for Cabin 1 which is one of the largest cabins and is well appointed with everything you need to make your stay comfortable and fun for the whole family. There are new furnishings, a fully equipped kitchen and several games. Cabin One is just steps away from the crystal clear waters of the Metolius River. Enjoy the view of the river from the deck with a cup of coffee in the morning or find a shady spot along the bank to read your favorite book.
Dining: The Hola restaurant is located conveniently on site. Hola Mexican-Peruvian cuisine prides itself on the freshest ingredients, the most unique flavor combinations and the finest tequilas for truly unforgettable margaritas.
Activities: Year round activities such as fly-fishing, birdwatching, hiking, biking, picnicking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing bring guests back to enjoy the highlights of every season. Water sports, golf, horseback riding, downhill skiing and shopping are also available within a short distance. The Western-themed town of Sisters is approximately 15 miles from the resort and offers shopping and popular special events throughout the year.

Location: Camp Sherman is an unincorporated community in Jefferson County, Oregon. It is located on the Metolius River. The year-round population as of the 2010 census was 233, with that number tripling or more during the summer. In 1949, Luther Metke was a key builder of the Camp Sherman Community Hall, the center of social activity in the community. In February 2003 it was listed as a National Register of Historic Places due to its rustic architecture highlighting late 19th & early 20th century American movements: Bungalow/Craftsman and Western Stick architecture.

The dining area and kitchen windows look out to a rustic barn and a wooded area that provides this intimate cabin with privacy.
