Led by the Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre, you’ll travel to the largest glacier in North America with thrilling sights to see every step of the way.

Take in the Canadian Rockies from your spacious private deck, go for a stroll down to the banks of Kicking Horse River, then snuggle up and listen to the crackle of your own wood-burning stone fireplace.

Which is why this Rocky Mountain lodge proudly offers incredible cabins to stay in and a well-recognized restaurant to dine in: the Riverside Dining Room. Featuring fresh local ingredients and organic dishes, the food and drinks on the menu here are just as satisfying and just as beautiful as the Rocky Mountain setting they’re served within.
Activities: Ascend to one of Banff’s National Park’s greatest mountain viewpoints. The Lake Louise Sightseeing Gondola and Wildlife Interpretive Centre also offers a unique opportunity for guests to view Grizzly bears feeding on berries that grow on the ski runs below. Location: At Cathedral Mountain Lodge, your Rocky Mountain cabin lies perfectly between Yoho National Park and Lake Louise in Banff National Park, and right in the middle of everything the area has to offer. Waterfalls include Wapta Falls, on the Kicking Horse River, and towering Takakkaw Falls. A trail circles turquoise-coloured Emerald Lake, with a nearby natural stone bridge. The Lake O’Hara area contains alpine lakes, cliffs and wooded trails. Viewpoints overlook trains entering the Spiral Tunnels on Kicking Horse Pass.
