Nestled by the coast in 350 acres of lush oak and sycamore trees along seasonal El Capitan Creek, cedar cabins, adventure yurts and safari tents cater to luxury campers who seek a nature experience in comfort. All accommodations are furnished with willow beds, down-style duvets, western-inspired blankets and casual furnishings. El Capitan Canyon also offers an exciting Adventure Yurt!
Unique Features: The Canyon Market. Situated under a shady tree sits a rustic building with a corrugated tin roof and barn door. Far from the typical campground store, the market carries just about anything happy campers require; Santa Barbara County wines, candles, organic provisions, sunscreen, and a variety of outdoor and adventure products from Patagonia, Yetti and Lodge Cast Iron.
Accommodations: All cabins are fully equipped with standard bathroom facilities, king, queen or double beds, kitchenettes with microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee maker. Furnishings inside the Adventure Yurt include one queen bed and one twin day bed with twin trundle, which can accommodate a family of 4 comfortably. The Safari Tents have screened windows and zip-down flaps, are supplied with bed linens and towels, furnished with bedside tables and chairs. Tents are also provided with a small heater.
As Suite As It Gets: When money is no object, go for the Safari Tent. For those who seek a more traditional camping experience but with some of the creature comforts of home, the classic safari tents are the answer. Each canvas tent measures a spacious 12′ x 14′ and is built on a permanent raised wooden deck. Guests may choose from a tent furnished with either a queen bed or with two double beds.
Dining: Whether you want to fuel up for a day of outdoor activities or relax and enjoy dinner and a bottle of wine, the Canyon Market and Deli menu will appeal to a wide-range of appetites and tastes. Hearty, hot breakfasts are served until 11:30 am. The lunch and dinner selections feature a variety of hand crafted pizzas, sandwiches, salads, and soup du jour.
Activities: You can take a dip in the heated pool, checkout complimentary adult bicycles for a cruise around the Canyon, or indulge in a spa treatment at Canyon Spa and Garden. Tag along on a hike and experience a llama farm and breathtaking views. There is a playground with a slide, swings and jungle gym. Seasonally, enjoy wine tasting on the Market lawn.
Spa & Fitness: The one of a kind Canyon Spa is nestled in a serene mediation garden where they grow calming lavender, healing sage, and many more native botanicals. A stay in the Canyon allows access to your own custom combination of body treatments and unique surrounding, allowing the healing presence of nature to rejuvenate your body and mind. Spa reservations are available 8am-8pm.

Meetings: They offer several different soft-sided venues for meetings, ranging in size from 700 to 2500 square feet. These facilities provide a comfortable location to focus on that trade issue, develop your team into a well running unit or recognize those special employees. Anything you would require concerning A/V equipment is available, or bring your own equipment depending on your needs.
Extra Info: The Canyon is home to many native species of animals, birds and insects. Animal watchers can enjoy a variety of local residents like squirrels, birds, and deer. The Canyon Market has a selection of trail guides to help you identify some of the wildlife that calls the Canyon home. Local and migratory birds bring unique bird calls at different times of the year. You may hear woodpeckers knocking away at a nearby tree.
