Accommodations: Guests can choose between The Mediterranean Villa, The Moroccan Villa, Adobe Room, Artist Studio, Atlas Room, or the Bedouin Suite which has a Queen-size built-in platform bed and a large indoor/outdoor stone tub with a rain shower. The suite features a full kitchen with breakfast bar, a spacious sitting area with a wood burning fireplace. The private patio offers dramatic views of the San Jacinto Mountains.
As Suite As It Gets: When money is no object, go for the Moroccan Villa. Built in 1924, The Moroccan villa, originally named Dar Marroc, was the former hideaway of Scottish painter Gordon Coutts. Dar Marroc quickly became a gathering place for musicians, visiting artists such as John Lavery, Agnes Pelton, Nicolai Fenshin and Grant Wood and celebrities such as Rudolph Valentino and Errol Flynn. It is rumored that even Winston Churchill has painted in the villa’s Artist Studio.
Dining: Begin the day with a home cooked breakfast in the beautiful Moroccan front courtyard. Enjoy a selection of choices to fit your cravings while sipping on the daily ground brewed coffee. If you like to sleep in, your breakfast will be delivered to your room. Want to stay in and soak in more sun and serenity of Korakia? Ask for the poolside lunch menu and relax on your pool chair. The picturesque Moroccan pool is nestled in the courtyard of the Moroccan villa with beautiful architecture. The pool is beautifully designed with a stone infinity edge and surrounded by fire pits.
