This Jackson Hole Dude Ranch has been owned and operated by the same family for over 45 years. Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park are just a short drive from the ranch. Unique Features: The lodge’s great room is comfortable and an enjoyable area to take in a game of backgammon, chess, look through the variety of wildflower books, and glance at the previous guest photo albums from years gone by. The ranch library, offers an enjoyable quiet place to read the Red Rock Ranch history, and also has a landline for your phoning needs. The swimming pool is a great place to cool down after a day of fun.
Accommodations: You’ll absolutely love staying in the authentic log cabins. The ranch can accommodate up to 35 guests at a time. This intimate size helps ensure a friendly and hospitable atmosphere that they are proud of and known for at Red Rock Ranch. Each evening you will retire to your private cabin where you can relax on your porch or in front of the woodstove. Sharing stories about your day on the ranch can be a refreshing change of pace for you and your family.
As Suite As It Gets: When money is no object, go for the Sioux Cabin. Each cabin is named after a Native American tribe and is richly furnished with western décor. All cabins have a large sitting room, private bathrooms, electric heat, a refrigerator, wood stove and an inviting sun porch. Cabins come in different sizes including one bedroom, two bedroom and three bedroom cabins. Daily housekeeping services are included. You and your family or group will be placed in an appropriate sized private cabin for your traveling party.
Dining: The chefs take great pride in serving delicious food, whether on a cook-out BBQ, lunch ride or in the main dining room. Dress is always informal and western. They offer a fabulous mix of dude ranch cuisine with a gourmet flare. You will be treated to home-baked breads, desserts and breakfast treats, fresh soups and salads and creative dining choices. You will tempted with traditional western BBQ and plated gourmet dinners. Throughout your dude ranch stay they will offer family-style dining, buffet and plated-dinner service.
Activities: The ranch offers a wide variety of family activities during your vacation. Horseback riding, Kid’s Program, fly-fishing, swimming, hiking and various weekly speaker series programs, Wednesday evening Square Dance will make your stay memorable. Massage Services are available at the middle to end of the week, a perfect remedy from the day’s dude ranch activities. Red Rock Ranch is home to over 2.5 miles of private blue ribbon Wyoming fly fishing water. Crystal Creek, which flows through the dude ranch, is an excellent fishery with abundant native Cutthroat Trout.
Spa & Fitness: There is no on-site spa or fitness center, but with all of the amazing outdoor activities and fresh air though, you won’t need them. The fantastic hiking program takes advantage of the ranch’s unique location which is surrounded by the Bridger-Teton National Forest and Gros Ventre Wilderness. Exploring and experiencing the mountain trails can offer unforgettable views of the Teton Mountain Range and the picturesque Crystal Creek valley. Start your day with an excursion down the road for fresh mountain air, or sign up for an all day or 1/2 day hike with one of the experienced hiking guides.
Location: Red Rock Ranch Jackson Hole is located in the Bridger-Teton Wilderness about 26 miles from Jackson, Wyoming. It will take you about 1 hour to get to the ranch from Jackson Hole. The last 9 miles to the ranch are on a very rough National Forest Service dirt road. The last cell phone service you will get is in the town of Kelly, approximately half-way to the ranch from Jackson.
Closest Airport: Jackson Hole Airport is 1 hour away. The drive from Salt Lake City is about 6.5 hours, from Idaho Falls about 1.5 hours and from Denver about 9 hours.
Children’s Programs: Yes. They pride themselves at the ranch for providing an excellent, safe and interactive Kid’s Program. Children are an important part of the ranch experience. It wouldn’t be the same without them. At the ranch kids love the freedom of just being a kid in the wide open spaces of Wyoming. There is no TV or video games, but they will be busy with horseback riding, volleyball, pickle-ball, horseshoes, ranch bikes are available for all kids.

Meetings: Yes. Your team will experience a wonderful mix of meeting in a western setting that is completely private with truly unique outdoor team building activities. There are marked trails and maps for all hikers for all abilities, from low-roaming trails to more difficult mountain tops. Some of these excursions can challenge seasoned alpinists with plenty of elevation and astonishingly stunning views.
