Located on scenic Route 100 in the idyllic New England village of Pittsfield, the Amee Farm Lodge is the perfect Vermont bed and breakfast. Enjoy relaxed country elegance at its best. The fully-restored post-and-beam farmhouse features 15 deluxe guest bedrooms with wide-planked pine floors, hand-hewn wooden furniture, comfy beds with Tempurpedic mattresses, and private bathrooms with stone-lined showers and lovely large rain showerheads.
Unique Features: The Green Mountain Byway travels through the towns of Waterbury and Stowe between the spine of the northern Green Mountains to the west and the peaks of the Worcester Range to the east. Traveling along the Byway provides stunning views of open meadows, farmland and forests, all with a spectacular mountain backdrop. Historic homes, farmsteads, villages, mill sites, the Waterbury Reservoir and three state parks are accessible along the route as is the area’s most prominent natural feature, Mount Mansfield.
Accommodations: The Amee Farm Lodge has 15 deluxe guest rooms spread over the three floors of this fully-restored grand Vermont farmhouse. All rooms feature wide-planked pine floors, an assortment of handcrafted furniture, locally-made bath amenities, and a generous supply of white fluffy towels. The beds come with a Tempurpedic mattress, down comforters, and white, soft linens. The bathrooms have fabulous showers with a large rain showerhead, and both the bathroom and shower itself are lined with multi-hued slate and granite tiles. Most of the rooms (11 in total) have private bathrooms.
As Suite As It Gets: When money is no object, go for the Goodrich which is a deluxe post-and-beam suite located on the 3rd floor. The ceilings are slanted and the room has five windows (with big alcoves) that face the farm. This Suite features a King bed, pellet stove, hand-crafted wooden bench, and wide-planked pine floors. The Suite comes fully equipped with luggage stands, two chairs and a table, full-length mirror, locally-made bath amenities, hair dryer, Wi-Fi access, heat and AC.
Dining: Breakfast is included in your stay. After a day or two of fresh Vermont mountain air, organic coffee and warm home cookin’, you’ll quickly fall into the rhythm of The Amee Farm Vermont.
Activities: Many folks come to Pittsfield simply to seek out old-fashioned country quiet, savoring the chance to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature, to gaze in wonder at the brilliant colors during fall foliage, or to stroll through the village green with a latte from our quintessential Vermont general store. Others come to enjoy a mellow tube ride down our river, sample some local maple syrup, or take an inspiring visit to the local art gallery featuring marble, limestone, wood, and stone sculpture products.
Spa & Fitness: There is no on-site spa or fitness center, but with all of the amazing outdoor activities and fresh air though, you won’t need them. Surrounded by the lush Green Mountains, Pittsfield has renowned hiking, mountain biking, and snowshoeing trails. In fact immediately across the road from the Lodge you will find the entrance to Green Mountain Trails, boasting 20 miles of trails that stretch across 750 acres. In the warmer months they rent bicycles and organize multi-day road bike tours from the Lodge.

This airport has domestic flights from Rutland, Vermont and is 25 miles from the center of Pittsfield, VT. On a less energetic level, enjoy the winter wonderland during a snowmobile tour, or take a sleigh ride or a dogsled adventure.
