Triple Creek Ranch is an award-winning luxury ranch resort in western Montana, approximately 75 miles south of Missoula. They are an all-inclusive mountain retreat for adults and children aged 16 and older. The ranch offers guests rustic elegance in a serene forested setting surrounded by endless miles of National Forest Service land. Discerning travelers enjoy a relaxing setting with incomparable scenery, wildlife, outdoor activities, year-round and the plush comforts of private log cabins and exquisite dining.
Unique Features: You may spot bald eagles flying above the ranch or along the Bitterroot River so be sure to pack your camera. In addition to ranch horses grazing in the meadows, elk, bison, deer, moose, turkeys and osprey make their home at Triple Creek Ranch and the surrounding areas. For your safety, when you do come into contact with animals during your vacation, remember to respect their territory and maintain a safe distance.
Accommodations: Ranch accommodations are in 23 individual cabins, most with private or nearby hot tubs and feature wood-burning fireplaces, king beds, fully stocked wet bar, daily fresh baked cookies, homemade trail mix and fresh fruit. Choose from one, two or three bedroom cabins. Or, opt for one of the luxury ranch homes. Most luxury cabins have open floor plans featuring living areas with wood-burning fireplaces that can be seen from the palatial log post king beds.
As Suite As It Gets: When money is no object, go for the Luxury Ranch Homes which are located a short distance away from the Main Lodge and central resort grounds. These homes feature all of the same luxurious amenities that are found in Triple Creek Ranch cabins, including king beds and private hot tubs, and they receive all ranch services. Guests will need a vehicle to join guests in the dining room for meals and for transportation to and from activities.
Dining: All meals, including snacks and packed lunches, are included in the nightly cabin rate. A Sommelier will be pleased to recommend a wine pairing from the complimentary selection of house wines, or a purchase from the award-winning cellar of premium vintages. Meals are served in a magnificent vaulted-ceiling dining room, or guests may request a cabin delivery at no additional cost. The dress code is best described as “ranch casual.”
Activities: Fill your day with on-ranch activities such as horseback riding, hiking or snowshoeing, a fly-casting clinic with an Orvis guide, archery, sapphire panning, a game of tennis, or simply relax by the pool. Off ranch activities include guided fly-fishing, scenic river floating, driving cattle to greener pasture, whitewater rafting, mountain biking, or guided all-terrain vehicle tours.
Spa & Fitness: With every deep breath of fresh mountain air, the outside world begins to slip away and true relaxation begins. The Wellness Experience offers an ideal start to a Montana escape that balances the tranquility of this secluded resort with gently invigorating pursuits. Sign-up for private yoga (or snowga) class, private guided activity (select from hike, trail run, mountain bike, snowshoe, cross country ski, fat tire bike), or a one-hour, private in-cabin couple’s massage.
Location: Pristine rivers burst forth from snow-capped peaks of the Rocky Mountain range and meander through a countryside that has not been greatly altered since Lewis & Clark first discovered its boundaries. Today, countless acres of unspoiled wilderness serve as an unparalleled playground for adventurers of every kind. They share this space with the buffalo and elk who still roam freely, and not much else.
Closest Airport: The Missoula International Airport, MSO, is 75 miles.
Children’s Programs: No. The Ranch is an adults-only resort. Families with children 16 and older are welcome at Triple Creek Ranch. If you rent the entire resort for a reunion or retreat, younger children are welcome.
