Triangle C Ranch is the perfect place to enjoy family, friends and horsemanship all while being surrounded by some of the most spectacular mountain views in the world. Unique Features: At the Triangle C you can go on a guided Pack Trip (a horseback ride up into the mountains where you sleep overnight in tents) up into the Shoshone National Forest for either a 2 night or 3 night pack trip during your vacation. Enjoy riding on the scenic mountain trails into the back country and see wildlife in their natural environment. Moose, elk, coyote, wolves, rabbit, bear, hawks, eagles and more.
Accommodations: With a variety of room styles, the Triangle C Ranch provides accommodations for every type of guest. Beautifully designed with western furnishings and attention to the cowboy way of life, they have a room that’s perfect for you! Perfect for a romantic getaway or business travel, Pinnacles, the luxury king room, offers exceptional comfort, including a sitting area and a private deck.
As Suite As It Gets: When money is no object, go for the Wind River Suite. Perfect for a family, the Wind River suite consists of a king bedroom with a bathroom, two queen bedrooms that share a bathroom, a living room with fireplace, two sofa-beds, and bunk bed located in one of the queen rooms. These suites have the ability to sleep 8 comfortably.
Dining: Folks spend all day working up mountain-sized appetites! Sooner or later it leads them back to the Wind River Dining Room, where the Triangle C chefs serve up fresh and healthy ranch delicacies. Prime rib, trout, salmon, and buffalo steaks accompanied by fresh vegetables are just a few of the dinners. Breakfast rides, old-fashioned picnics on the deck and a full steak at the campfire cookout are all wholesome, hearty and plentiful. Please let them know in advance if there are any special dietary needs.
Activities: Horseback trail rides head out every morning and afternoon or you can try an all day ride with a picnic lunch. There are several epic day hikes available including Lake Louise, Glacier Trail, Stough Creek Basin, Silas Canyon, Island Lake and one of the most popular, the Jade Lake Hike. Fishing and fly fishing is spectacular in this area with multiple lakes, rivers and streams available nearby with many different species from Cutthroat, Rainbow Trout, Brook Trout, Kokanee Salmon, Grayling, Walleye and many more.
Spa & Fitness: There is no on-site spa or fitness center, but with all of the amazing outdoor activities and fresh air though, you won’t need them.
Location: The Triangle C Ranch is off Highway 26 at the base of Togwotee Pass, just 20 miles west of Dubois, 1/2 hour drive from the North Gate of Grand Teton National Park, and 1 hour drive from the South Gate to Yellowstone National Park. The western town of Jackson Hole is 1 1/2 hrs away on the most scenic highway in the Rocky Mountains. The ranch is located within view of the Pinnacles, Absaroka Range and the Wind River flows through the ranch.
Closest Airport: The Jackson Hole Airport, WY is just 60 miles away.
Children’s Programs: Yes, they welcome children of all ages and offer a wonderful Children’s Program for ages 3 -12 years old which include pony rides for ages 3-5 and trail rides for ages 6 and older. Daily activities that have them discovering all of the cowboy ways and spending time out in nature. Some of the most requested children’s activities include, Tipi Night, Indian Pony Painting, the Wind River Indian Walk and the Polar Plunge in the Wind River.
Pet Friendly: No, unfortunately pets are not allowed.
Weddings: No, they don’t normally host weddings, although they may by special request.
