The R Lazy S Ranch provides good, old fashioned hospitality, excellent food, and casual living at its best. At the ranch you will enjoy a truly unforgettable vacation filled with fun and relaxation in the clean, clear mountain air. The Grand Tetons have been described as one of the most beautiful valleys on earth. You can be as active or inactive as you want at the ranch. Go horseback riding for an hour or two, all day, or take an afternoon riding lesson. Fish in America’s top trout streams, take a scenic or whitewater river float trip, or see an authentic Western Rodeo.
Unique Features: The waters surrounding the ranch are home to world class white water rafting, float trips and more. Scenic float trips on the Snake River area are available through professional outfitters. Half or full-day trips on quiet waters beneath the towering Tetons are enjoyed by many. The more adventuresome may sign up for an exciting trip on whitewater stretches in the Snake River Canyon.
Accommodations: Enjoy a magnificent view from the porch of your log cabin, each of which offers distinctive Jackson Hole lodging experience. Various floor plans and sizes are offered to allow large or small families. All cabins have one or two private bathrooms, electric heat, and either a sitting room with a stone fireplace or a wood burning stove. Each provides maximum comfort in a ranch atmosphere.
As Suite As It Gets: When money is no object, go for the Spruce Cabin with 2 bedrooms, 1 bunk room, 2 bathrooms, living room with wood stove. This cabin sleeps 2-6. Rates include: Cabin, all meals, daily housekeeping, daily riding and instruction, fishing in the stocked pond, all ranch activities and facilities.
Dining: It is gourmet home cooking, all you can eat, three meals a day, seven days a week. A healthy measure of the R Lazy S Western hospitality is evident at meal time. Quality, balanced meals are served in the lodge, as well as delicious buffets and cookouts. Children and teenagers have their own dining room with their new friends, separate from the adult guests, making mealtime especially enjoyable for them.
Activities: From horseback riding to water activities, fishing to rodeos, there’s plenty to do. Whether you are an accomplished rider or have never been in the saddle, riding at the R Lazy S will be a pleasurable experience that you will long remember. Mid week, kids and adults are dropped off at either Jackson Lake or other lakes in the region to relax by the shores, splash around in a tube or trying their luck at paddle boarding. The Ranch swimming hole and meandering creek afford swimming and inner tubing opportunities for those hot afternoons.
Spa & Fitness: There is no on-site spa or fitness center, but with all of the amazing outdoor activities and fresh air though, you won’t need them. Play a round of golf on three beautiful 18-hole golf courses at the foot of the Tetons; play tennis or take mountain climbing instruction. Ride bicycles along many miles of paths located nearby the ranch as well as in the park.
Location: This 325-acre ranch adjoins the South boundary of Grand Teton National Park, with the beautiful Snake River on the East boundary and the majestic Tetons to the West. The R Lazy S is just 20 minutes from the town of Jackson; 30 minutes from the airport and only a few minutes from Teton Village, which is a year-around recreation area.
Closest Airport: The closest major airport to Teton Village, Wyoming is Jackson Hole Airport (JAC / KJAC). This airport is in Jackson, Wyoming and is 24 miles from the center of Teton Village, WY.
Children’s Programs: Yes. There is a full children’s program for the younger guests (minimum age 7). The dude ranch kids activities involve far more than horseback riding. The recreation room is equipped to provide indoor activities and non-stop fun. An outdoor area is equipped with a horseshoe pit and volleyball court. Daily after-dinner events for everyone include softball games, capture the flag, accompanied rides to the rodeo, s’mores by a campfire and talent night.

Weddings: No. They do not normally host weddings but they may by special request.
Meetings: No. They do not have the facilities to host large business meetings.
Extra Info: There are tons of fun stuff to do besides riding a horse. Browse through the unique art galleries and shops of historic Jackson. Take a side trip to Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, or just prop your feet up on the front porch of your cabin.
