Unique Features: Sandpoint sits on the shores of the spectacular Lake Pend Oreille, one of the largest freshwater lakes in the United States. At 43 miles in length, Lake Pend Oreille is the fifth deepest lake (1,158 feet at its greatest depth) in the United States with 111 miles of shoreline. Its pristine waters are a major factor in the community of Sandpoint’s high ranking as a premier tourist destination.
Accommodations: Lodging is offered in the 10,000 square foot main lodge, hewn from local timber. There are six spacious guest rooms, each with a private bath. If it is your own private log cabin in the woods you are looking for, well, they have four to choose from. These cabins can accommodate up to six, yet are cozy enough for two, with a full bath, queen bed in the main bedroom, and a sleeping loft with a queen and two twins.
As Suite As It Gets: When money is no object, go for the Settler Cabin. If you are looking for the privacy of a western vacation, but also the convenience of being closest to the lodge you may consider the Settler Cabin. This cozy log cabin has a friendly country décor. Sleeping arrangements include a private bedroom on the main floor with a queen sized bed. Upstairs is an open half loft with a queen bed and two twins. The cabin has a kitchenette with all the basics for light cooking, kitchen table, and living room area with a free standing wood stove.
Dining: Meals are served either buffet or family style in the great room of the lodge. They specialize in hearty ranch meals. The meals are prepared using only the finest ingredients to satisfy your entire family. Guests who return year after year to the ranch brag about feeling like they are part of the family, and the ranch cooking adds the finishing touch to a truly incredible and memorable experience.
Activities: Saddle up for some good old fashioned fun as you ride along the ridges and valleys of this fifth generation Idaho dude and guest ranch, rich in history and beauty. Ride through grazing cattle or sneak a peek at deer, bear, and other wildlife in their native surroundings. In addition to horseback riding, guests can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, horse shoes, evening campfires with songs and s’mores, outdoor hot tub, basketball, foosball, fishing with a local outfitter, archery range, trap shooting, or whitewater rafting.
Spa & Fitness: There is no on-site spa or fitness center, but with all of the amazing outdoor activities and fresh air though, you won’t need them. Just off the wrap-around deck, you can submerge in the soothing water of the hot tub, or simply relax in one of the Adirondack chairs and soak up the fresh air and the gorgeous mountain scenery.
Location: The ranch is located just 16 scenic miles NE of the beautiful small town of Sandpoint, Idaho. Resting at the base of the Selkirk Mountains in North Idaho’s Panhandle region, the community of Sandpoint can be found 60 miles south of the Canadian border and 75 miles northeast of Spokane, Washington.
Closest Airport: Spokane International Airport (GEG) is the nearest commercial airport which is about 90 miles from the ranch. They recommend you rent a car, however, if you prefer, transportation can be arranged for an additional fee. Sandpoint (just 15 miles from the ranch) does have a small airport for private flights.
Children’s Programs: Yes. Children staying with family at the ranch on the All Inclusive Package have the opportunity to be involved in one of the most educational and fun dude ranch children’s program available. This program is designed for kids age 8-18. Hands on experiences with their horse are the centerpiece of this program.
Pet Friendly: Yes. They do allow dogs in the cabins but not in the rooms in the lodge. There is a pet fee. Guest pets are not allowed on any rides so please bring a crate your dog can stay in while you are away.

This mountain boasts 2,500 acres of the most beautiful, breathtaking scenery imaginable, with views of Canada and two states.
