Located 15 minutes from downtown Bend, Oregon and 4 miles from Tumalo Falls, Tumalo Lake is the ideal location to immerse yourself in nature and be close to all that Bend and surrounding area has to offer. Four beautifully appointed luxury vacation rental cabins and a Lodge overlook beautiful Tumalo Lake. Each are a high-end masterpiece of craftsmanship. Huge windows in every room provide a tree-house sensation with amazing views of nature in every direction. Large wrap-around decks, private hot tubs, and comfortable adirondack rockers allow for relaxing in the fresh air.

Accommodations: Rent out the lodge or one of the cabins. The Lodge can be rented in two configurations, the 1st and 2nd floor or add the Ground Floor for an additional fee. All bedrooms feature iron beds with quilts, cozy down comforters and pillows, high thread count linens. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. Ground floor has two bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen with kitchenette, can be connecting), the 1st floor has 2 bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen), the 2nd floor has 4 bedrooms (2 king, 1 queen and 1 with 2 twins and a trundle bed).
As Suite As It Gets: When money is no object, go for the Entire Lodge or choose the Lakeside East Cabin with 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, a sleeper sofa, with a maximum capacity of 8. There’s a hot tub, wood-burning stove, wrap around deck, stunning lake and forest views. This cabin is located closest to the lake deck. It’s 2000 square feet.
Dining: The lodge and cabins each have full kitchens.
Activities: Explore beautiful Tumalo Lake by kayak, canoe or SUP (stand up paddle board), there are 13 acres to cruise on with lily pads and a variety of water fowl. Ducks, owls, osprey, bald eagle and blue heron have been spotted by guests, as well as trout swimming as you paddle by. A fleet of kayaks, canoes and SUPs are located at the lake dock and are available free of charge to guests.

Closest Airport: The closest major airport to Bend, Oregon is Roberts Field (RDM / KRDM). This airport is in Redmond, Oregon and is 17 miles from the center of Bend, OR. Bend is a small city on the Deschutes River, in Oregon. West are the lakes and peaks of the Cascade Mountains, with ski resorts and multi-use trails. In town, a trail leads up Pilot Butte, an extinct volcano. South, the High Desert Museum showcases the local environment, with history and live wildlife exhibits.

Extra Info: Numerous hiking trails await right out your door on the 640 acre Tumalo Lake Lodge property. Take Paul’s Lake Loop Trail for an easy 2 mile hike around Tumalo Lake, or choose from several longer hikes to higher elevations where you will be rewarded with cascade mountain views. One of the favorites, Tumalo Falls trail, has a majestic 97 foot waterfall plus many other smaller ones, and is located just minutes from the Cabins.
