Unique Features: Wyoming pack trips are a tradition at Triangle X Ranch. A pack trip into the Teton Wilderness, provides an opportunity to discover some of the most remote country in the contiguous 48 states. Exceptional horseback riding, beautiful mountain scenery, fine wildlife viewing, comfortable camp settings, great food, the chance of superb fishing, and warm hospitality make roughing it in style with Triangle X Outfitters a great outdoor get away.
Accommodations: Each of the 20 distinct log cabins originated in Jackson Hole and has a story of its own. Perhaps your home for the week housed an early settler family in the late 1800s, later being moved to the ranch and gazing eternally out at the Tetons. Or your cabin was built with logs cut nearby the ranch. Whatever your cabins story, the accommodations are comfortable and appropriately rustic. While preserving their historic character and old west charm, all guest cabins have been well maintained.
As Suite As It Gets: When money is no object, go for the Four Bedroom Cabin which is attractively furnished and provides all the needed modern amenities. After a day on the trail you can retire to your large front porch, featuring unmatched views of Grand Teton National Park. All cabins are equipped with the following amenities: bathrooms, comfortable log beds with linens, small refrigerator, and daily housekeeping.
Dining: Meals are served family style in the beautiful sun porch dining room of the main lodge. The fair is hearty, healthy and delicious. There are three, hearty, ranch-style meals a day along with snacks. They use only the freshest ingredients and try their best to accommodate special dietary requirements. The lodge was the first building constructed at the Triangle X. Serving as home to the first two generations of Turners, it was later transformed into the dining, gathering, and heart of the Ranch.
Activities: Located in the heart of Grand Teton National Park, you will enjoy spectacular scenery, warm hospitality, and a relaxed pace beneath sunny western skies. Join in activities such as horseback riding, unmatched wildlife viewing, cookouts, square dancing, hiking, sightseeing, an engaging children’s program, world class fishing and scenic float trips on the Snake River. In the winter, the ranch offers unsurpassed cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, photography, and wildlife viewing right out your front door.
Spa & Fitness: There is no on-site spa or fitness center, but they may be able to arrange an in-room massage. With all of the amazing outdoor activities and fresh air though, you won’t need them.
