Rancho La Puerta’s 4,000 acres include 40 miles of hiking trails, 32 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, and an organic farm with a cooking school. As Suite As It Gets: When money is no object, go for the Cielo Terra Casita which is bathed in shades of warm terracotta, and is designed to nourish the mind, body, and spirit. Cielo Terra features a terraced master suite, that overlooks a spacious living room. The artisanal décor, which embraces the earthy hues of terracotta, captures the spirit of Mexico. Lush gardens and the private patios feature mountain views, an outdoor shower, a dipping pool, day beds and a hammock.

Dining: Rancho La Puerta is renowned for freshly picked produce and nutritious natural foods. They have developed, tested, and proven hundreds of recipes since 1940. Over eighty years of culinary creativity, experimentation and dietary research have culminated in a superb all-natural diet. The fresh lacto-ovo cuisine provides protein, vitamins, minerals, and probiotics. It is low in fat, sodium, and refined flour and sugar, while high in energy, fiber, and complex carbohydrates.

From Craniosacral Therapy and Chiropractic services to Feldenkrais, Acupuncture, Reiki, WATSU, and Water Dance, the therapists are highly skilled masters, the finest in their fields. Location: The resort is located just south of San Diego in Mexico. They provide scheduled, complimentary ground transportation for your Saturday arrival and departure to and from San Diego International Airport. Most of the facilities and lodgings are sprinkled amidst world-class gardens. Tecate is a city in Baja California. Tecate is in a valley and is surrounded by several hills and mountains, the most prominent and famous of them being Kuuchamaa (also spelled Kuchamaa and Cuchama) Mountain.

Closest Airport: San Diego International Airport, USA is the preferred airport. It is one and a half hours away. The nearest major airport is Tijuana International Airport (TIJ / MMTJ). This airport has international and domestic flights from Tijuana, Mexico and is 40 km from the center of Tecate, Mexico. Another major airport is San Diego International Airport (SAN / KSAN), which has international and domestic flights from San Diego, California and is 69 km from Tecate, Mexico.

Rancho La Puerta has more than 50 fitness classes a day. Choose from HIIT, Hydro-Fit, Barre, kickboxing, cycling, salsa and more. We also offer mind-body classes, such as mat and aerial yoga, meditation, sound healing and Feldenkrais. Some of the best teachers in the world will guide and support you. Instructors also lead morning hikes, trail runs, nature tours and art classes.
