Whether you’re new to wine or a passionate oenophile, their sommeliers can help you compare and contrast Napa and Sonoma wines with other regions, get you access to hard-to-get wineries, and introduce you to lesser-known varietals. Sommelier Wine Tours are customized to the individual and typically include three winery visits, third party transportation, and the inn’s Wine Country picnic lunch. Ask about prices.
Accommodations: Havens of stylish comfort, handcrafted amenities, and unmatched attention to detail, every room and suite at Farmhouse Inn has its own personality, charm and laid-back warmth. In fact, some might say the rooms are a reflection of the staff. Enjoy Heaven-sent feather beds with European linens and down comforters, exquisite private bathrooms with large jetted tubs and saunas or steam showers, and Sonoma-made, organic Sumbody bath and beauty products.
As Suite As It Gets: When money is no object, go for the Barn Junior Suite which encompasses the true sense of modern farmhouse decor with an open floor plan, expansive windows and an indoor/outdoor fireplace. The suites highlight a spa-like restroom with steam showers, two-person sunken tubs and heated marble floors. They are located at the rear of the property surrounded by native trees offering beautiful views from every location. They are 650 sq. feet.
Dining: What happens when two fifth-generation Sonoma farmers, a Michelin-starred chef, a world-class maitre d’ and a team of sommeliers conspire? Some call it magic! It is the Farmhouse Inn. The restaurant has long been the cornerstone of the hotel. Fueled by ingredients straight from a local ranch or discovered by the chef on his daily farm stops en route to the inn, the menus are ever-changing and rely exclusively on not only what is fresh and seasonal in Sonoma County, but on what is perfect, unexpected and delightful.
Activities: They’re delighted to share a selection of Sonoma County wineries, which provide exclusive experiences and benefits to Farmhouse Inn guests. Launched in 2010, their Winery Partner Program was designed to ensure that guests would have a list of wineries that they knew provided a delicious product and excellent experience. You may want to try and visit all of these wineries at least once during your travels.
Spa & Fitness: Nature is our most powerful healer and greatest inspiration. Wellness doesn’t have to be complicated. The journey toward health and happiness is rooted in simplicity. In each session, they weave together local remedies and healing modalities designed to align, awaken and restore you to your own unique place of balance.
