Unique Features: Not many can say they’ve feasted on gourmet picnic lunches along the banks of the Platte River after a full day’s ride. An even rarer experience for the ultra-adventurous includes once-in-a-lifetime cattle drives. Take upward to three hours as you ride across the storied land, driving cattle through the Ranch’s various terrain.
Accommodations: The modern accommodations harken back to the old west while providing the luxury you expect in every detail. With 33 individual units, these Wyoming lodging options include 11 elegant two-and-three-bedroom log cabin residences, 13 spacious rooms in our Trailhead Lodge, and nine fully-refurbished cabin suites. Groups of up to 150 guests are achievable.
As Suite As It Gets: When money is no object, go for the Homestead Cabin Residence which is located on its own private driveway next door to Stagecoach and Jo’s Cabin Residence. It can be combined with these to create the ultimate private ranch experience. It has a gourmet indoor and outdoor kitchen and oversized patio for entertaining. Private hot tub and firepit for relaxing and stargazing.
Dining: Whether enjoying a meal at the Trailhead Lodge, Chuckwagon, or Cheyenne Club, the ingredients are plucked straight from the ever-expanding greenhouse and reflect the sophistication of the thoughtfully designed Wyoming resort. There’s nothing like taking a trip to the Saloon under the starry, night sky. Enter through our swinging doors and raise the stakes by finding your way to the poker table. While the jukebox is playing, take part in darts, shuffleboard, billiards, and other games around our beautiful bartop or fireplace.
Activities: Saddle up at Brush Creek Ranch and take history by the reins as you ride through the Wyoming countryside and learn the skill set necessary to become a competent horseback rider with lessons from the experts. Guests can also enjoy fly fishing, shooting, hiking, rock climbing, yoga, archery, mountain biking, and ATV adventures. Winter activities include snowmobiling, skiing and snowboarding, ice skating and snowshoeing! Work with the Executive Pastry Chef to create unforgettably tasty pastries and baked goods.

Closest Airport: DIA (Denver International) is about 4 hours from Saratoga, WY. There is also the Casper Airport (about 2.5 hrs. north of Saratoga); the Laramie Airport (about 1.5 – 2.0 hrs. East of Saratoga); or if you have your own private jet, Saratoga has the Shively Field Airport.

Extra Info: Spanning forever-long across the Western Frontier lies Medicine Bow National Forest, an area steeped in legend. As the story goes, tribes sought after coveted Mountain Mahogany to constructing their bows and as a medicinal ingredient during annual, ceremonial powwows. When settlers appeared on the scene and began interacting with the tribes, a hybrid speech developed among them. The tribe’s activities in the forest became known as “making-medicine” and “making-bow”, resulting in the area being called Medicine Bow by locals.
